I have always been sensitive, curious and compassionate, a natural observer and drawn to questions, solutions and growth. I am aware of the unique life challenges faced by women and mothers and offer a grounded and holistic approach to therapy for this group. My work is ultimately aimed at empowering women to get to know and care for themselves (and therefore their families and communities) better and to access their inner resources in order to live mindful, vibrant and meaningful lives. My work is grounded in the values of connection, compassion, and curiosity and is informed by the latest evidence based practices for mental health and wellness.
I hold a First Class Honours Degree in Social Sciences (Psychology) and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. I have over 15 years of clinical experience, working extensively with women, as well as at times children, who had experienced gender based violence (sexual, domestic and family violence) at specialist support services as well as more recently supporting women and mothers in private practice.
The influences on my therapeutic work are varied, including my professional training and experience, an ever-growing knowledge and skill base in psychological therapies (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy), mindfulness, neuroscience and somatic therapies, perinatal mental health, motherhood and parenting as well as my personal journey of womanhood, motherhood, healing and growth. I believe personally and professionally in the value of self-enquiry and self-care and work to create a space where these skills can be developed and strengthened. Sessions with me are tailored to the individual while being anchored in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy principles; they are warm, full of questions, collaborative, relaxed and conversational while also targeted, growth and flexibility oriented.
I believe in and provide exceptional care and support, as well as an intentional reverence around the therapy and therapeutic relationship. It is an absolute privilege to bear witness and hold space for women. You will feel thought of, cared for, cheered on and have space held for all parts of you. I will be a pillar of support, there to both guide and walk alongside you.

I am a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with over 13 years of experience in both public and private healthcare settings. I have worked extensively across the lifespan, from early childhood to elderly populations. My experience includes supporting clients through the adjustment to parenthood, aiding children with developmental delays, disabilities, or complex medical conditions, conducting diagnostic assessments, addressing medical trauma, managing chronic health conditions, substance use disorders, anxiety, phobias, depression, and facilitating life transitions at various stages.
I engage a comprehensive therapeutic approach that incorporates elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and various other therapy modalities.
With a background and interest in meditation, yoga, and Eastern philosophies sessions with me focus on wellness, personal growth, and empowerment by addressing barriers to inner peace, joy, contentment, and acceptance. In an increasingly busy and complex world I’m honoured to have the opportunity to aid people to lead lives aligned with their own personal values.
I graduated with a Bachelors degree with Honours in Psychological Science (2011) and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Griffith University (2015). I am an approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia providing supervision and training to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Provisional Psychologists.

Meet Kimberly
clinical psychologist
- Fully registered as a Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Registered with Medicare and Private Health Funds
- Graduate Certificate in Play and Art Therapy
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities to navigate life’s challenges and find meaningful ways forward.
I began my career in trauma counselling, working with clients across the lifespan. This early work shaped my deep commitment to creating safe, respectful, and compassionate spaces for healing. I later moved into educational settings, where I worked closely with children, young people, and their families to address emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs, aiming to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
I take a friendly, warm, down-to-earth and practical approach to therapy. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, collaborative conversation, where you can bring your whole self without fear of judgment. My aim is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of your experiences, develop practical tools, identify and draw upon your values and strengths to ultimately move toward a life that feels richer and more meaningful amongst the often complex challenges life can throw at us. I particularly enjoy working with women and mothers navigating life’s many transitions. I specifically work with women experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, navigating adjustment to change, perinatal and postnatal adjustment, grief and loss and parenting difficulties.
